Minor in Latin American Studies

The minor in Latin American Studies is designed to provide students not majoring in Latin American Studies with an interdisciplinary concentration of courses that will impart a knowledge of the region and field and enhance their career opportunities and general knowledge. The minor requires a total of 18 units; 3 units from a required course, 3 units from a 4000-level LAS elective, and 12 units from an interdisciplinary list of elective courses, 9 of which must be from 4000-level courses.
