A total of 21 units is required for the Minor in Public Health. This minor is an exploratory pathway for students to learn about the field of public health and engage in population health-related topics, such as major health issues and impacts, strategies on health prevention and control, health-related research, and community efforts that address health factors and outcomes among at-risk populations, people of color, and vulnerable populations across the life course, locally, nationally, and/or globally.
