A total of 120 units is required for the Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.  The option in Finance requires completion of 66 units in the major. Consult with an adviser for the specific number of units required in all areas of the degree including GE and free electives.

Students should take their finance courses as early as possible to prepare themselves for internship and job market interviews. Do not delay your finance courses until completing core requirements.  

Students may require two additional courses to meet the 120 units required for graduation. These courses should be taken outside of the major and be selected to meet improve writing, communication, and presentation skills for the job market (unless one is pursuing a minor in another field).  Recommended courses are: ENGL 3030, TA 1410, and TA 1420; courses involving Argumentative Writing and Applied Writing, and Courses Developing Negotiation, Interpersonal, and Presentation Skills.
