Course Description: Psychological and psychosocial theories and research on oppressive experiences faced by people with less privilege around the world. Examination of cross-cultural models of effective resistance and resilience in the face of oppression and discrimination. Application of theories of persuasion and change to real-world problems. Some sections may be offered in hybrid or fully online format. Only students who are able and prepared to engage in online instruction should register for the online options.
