Course Description: This elective course examines financial empowerment as applied to self, clients and various social service organizations.  Site visits through a service learning project will help students understand a practice issue and advance social work practice interventions with clients impacted by poverty and lack of asset building capability.  This course may be offered as an online or hybrid course.
