EDSP 567 - Specialized Instructional Strategies for Struggling Readers and English Language Learners Who are Visually Impaired (4) Prerequisite or concurrent enrollment: EDSP 566. Advanced understanding of impact of visual impairment and English language fluency on reading/writing performance for students using Braille and/or print learning media, including development of individualized reading programs, diagnostic/remediation skills for teachers. Lecture 4 hours. Note: This course will be offered through a distance learning model that uses web-based learning, students must be proficient in, and have access to current technology (hardware and software), and be proficient in using e-mail, including sending attachments.
