This program is designed to enable students with undergraduate degrees in Industrial Technology, Graphic Communications, Aviation Administration, Fire Protection Administration, Engineering, or other related fields to develop necessary technical, managerial and leadership skills to meet the responsibilities of leadership positions in diverse technology fields. The program offers a required core of technology leadership classes along with selecting one of the three concentrations:
Organizational Security : emphasizing security management in organizations .
Education and Training: emphasizing career and technical education and training .
Product and Process Development: emphasizing product and process development with the use of data and virtual simulation.

Admission to the Program
In addition to University requirements for admission to graduate study, applicants must have a baccalaureate in a related field with combined course work and work experience acceptable to the department.
Requirements for the Degree (30 units)
A total of 30 units is required, with at least 15 in 5000-level courses.
Concentration (6 units)
Complete two courses from one of three concentrations: Organizational Security, Education and Training, or Product and Process Development.
Product and Process Development
Advanced Technical Specialization (9 units, 4000/5000 levels)
Select a total of 9 units in an advanced technical specialization with advisor approval.
Thesis , Project or Comprehensive Examination (3 units)
Select either thesis, project or comprehensive examination. Students who select comprehensive examination should take the examination at the quarter they complete all course works on their program.
