Industrial Studies Minor

A minimum of 36 units is required for a minor in Industrial Studies. Included in a typical program for the minor are 3–9 units in lower division courses. However, the number of units may vary according to the selection of an area of concentration and the selection of electives.

Requirements for the Minor (36 units)
Area of Concentration (24 units)
At least 24 units are selected from the core and two of the five concentration areas listed for the Industrial Technology major. The normal pattern for an area of concentration consists of the introductory core course and three additional courses in the two concentrations chosen. When needed, select related courses in other areas with approval of adviser. Required Course (4 units)
Electives (8 units)
Select additional technology courses, with prior approval of adviser. If a basic college course in drafting has not been taken, TECH 110 is required for 3 of the 8 units. |
