Manufacturing Certificate

This certificate program in Manufacturing is designed to provide high quality, up-to-date, scientific, and practical knowledge of manufacturing processes, modern materials, automatic control, automated manufacturing, and robotics.
A baccalaureate degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering or in an allied field (physics, chemistry, mathematics) is required for admission to the program. A minimum of 27 units (including at least one elective laboratory) is required to complete the certificate program with a minimum grade point average of 3.0. At least one course has to be taken from each of the three designated areas of specialization below. Most courses require prerequisites taken previously either as a part of the B.S. degree or in preparation for this certificate program.
