Geographic Information Systems Certificate

The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Certificate is offered by the Department of Geography and Urban Analysis to students with up-to-date theory and technology in spatial analysis (GIS, remote sensing, and spatial statistics). It also provides students a non-degree alternative for acquiring a recognized certification for GIS competency. A total of 32-33 units in the following courses is required for the certificate. Refer to the Undergraduate Studies: General Information for general regulations governing all certificate programs.
The prerequisites are GEOG 155 , 160 , and 260 .
