Course Description: Overview of gender-based violence from a transnational and cross-cultural perspective. Gender-Based Violence is conceptualized to include structural as well as interpersonal forms of violence. Key topics include: inequalities, labor, colonialism, development, nationalism, health, violence, and fundamentalism.
