PSY 3020 - Statistics in Psychology (4) Prerequisites: GE MATH/Quatitative Reasoning (block B4) and critical thinking (Block A3). Provides an introduction to statistics. Topics include statistical notation, descriptive procedures (tables, central tendency, variability), hypothesis testing, probability, inferential parametric and nonparametric procedures, written presentation of statistical results, and use of statistical software. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 3 hours.
