BIOL 4320 - Fundamentals of Toxicology

Prerequisites: BIOL 3400 (OR CHEM 2300) AND  CHEM 3200 AND  CHEM 2211. A survey of important drugs and environmental toxicants; absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion of drugs and toxic compounds; mechanisms of toxic action; human and ecological risk assessment. Lecture 2 hours, Laboratory 3 hours.
