Minor in Chicana(o) and Latina(o) Studies

The minor in Chicana(o) & Latina(o) Studies provides students with a curriculum focusing on Chicana(o) and Latina(o) in contemporary US society, with emphasis on social justice, education, migration, public health, and social/cultural movements. In addition, students have the opportunity to focus and deepen their understanding of several of the areas affecting their social, cultural, and political lives, including their communities and institutions/structures that impact them.
