Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Business Intelligence

Business Intelligence is one of the fastest growing and most dynamic industries. Career opportunities continue to expand in: business intelligence, analytics and business analyst. The proposed Business Intelligence Certificate program will provide a comprehensive and up-to-date review of business intelligence and analytics concepts and best practices. Students will acquire knowledge and develop the skills in the areas relevant to the roles and responsibilities of today’s practicing Business Intelligence professionals: in business intelligence, analytics and management systems. Students will be able to apply their newly learned skills through hands-on projects and exercises. Career opportunities continue to expand in: business intelligence, analytics and business analyst. 

The Business Intelligence Graduate certificate program is designed to prepare students to compete in the Business Intelligence marketplace. The programs prepares students to assume roles as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Business Intelligence Consultant, Business Intelligence Developer, Business Analyst and Business Intelligence Manager.

Minimum admission requirements:


For admission, completion of CIS/CS 1200 Information and Technology Literacy or equivalency, or proof of knowledge in Information and technology literacy is required.

A total of 12 semester units are required in the program. Upon successful completion of all course requirements, participants will be awarded a Certificate in Business Intelligence, authorized by the Department of Information Systems in College of Business &Economics.
