Undergraduate Certificate in Alternative Nutrition

This undergraduate credit certificate program requires 18 units to complete. Courses in this program may be taken by coordinated dietetics and nutritional science students to meet this standard. Students must be in upper division standing. A basic course in human nutrition is prerequisite to all courses. Health professionals in such disciplines as Dietetic Technician, Health Science, Nursing, Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Biology and Chemistry would also find this program useful. Students will qualify for the award of the Certificate in Alternative Nutrition upon the successful completion of the required courses with a minimum 2.0 grade point average.
