B3. Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)

• Knowledge: Students will gain the prerequisite knowledge required to earn a single-subject teaching credential and apply to the Charter College of Education.
• Proficiency. Students will gain extensive experience in classroom observation and science teaching methods
• Application and Community engagement. Students who minor in Science Teaching Preparation earn the skills to teach secondary education, which will fulfill a critical need in the community.
• Transformation. Students transition from the NATS Program to the Charter College of Education to earn a secondary teaching credential to ultimately qualify for teaching positions in local middle schools or high schools in Los Angeles and beyond.
