Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)

Students who successfully complete the Master Degree program will demonstrate the following learning outcomes:

1. Students will be able to demonstrate mastery of major theories, concepts, approaches to inquiry and/or practices relevant to the field of Chicana/o and Latina/o Studies.

2. Students will be albe to articulate how advancing knowledge and/or praxis in the field of Chicana/o and Latina/o Studies contributes to social activism, political intervention, and the public good.

2. Students will be able to apply core research skills for work in communities, doctoral studies, and other professional arenas.

3. Students will be able to analyze key issues shaping (in)equity and social (in)justice in Chicana/o and Latina/o communities and identify recommendations to address those issues.
