The Environmental Science B.S. program emphasizes technical and quantitative analysis of complex environmental problems, at scales ranging from site-specific to global, and will strengthen students’ ability to address and communicate needs to policy makers and managers. Specific applications in Environmental Science include adapting to climate change, advancing urban sustainability, dealing with environmental pollutants, and predicting policy outcomes that are vital to the stewardship of natural resources. Upon graduation, Environmental Science students will be able to choose from a variety of careers, ranging from private industry, to government, to academia and research.
