Overview
The Minor in Construction and Engineering Management is an innovative program available to students who are interested in expanding their knowledge about managing construction, and engineering projects in terms of planning, scheduling, cost estimation, project controls, and project management, as well as industry trends and technologies.
Program Requirements
15 units are required for this minor. These units must be distinct from the core requirements in the student’s major but may overlap with the electives in the major. Minimum C grades are required in all courses taken to complete the minor program. The minor will be noted on the transcript if the minor requirements are completed by the time all degree requirements are met. A maximum of 6 units may overlap with the electives in the student’s major.
Admission Requirements
To declare this minor, a student must have completed GE B4 (Mathematics/Quantitative Reasoning). Students must get approval from the Civil Engineering department in order to declare the minor.
