Business Administration, B.S.: Option in Operations and Supply Chain Management

A total of 120 units is required for the Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

The Option in Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSCM) requires completion of 45 units in degree core courses and 21 units in the option. Consult with an advisor for the specific number of units required in all areas of the degree including GE and free electives (6 units).

Operations and Supply Chain Management refers to what an organization does to create value. This might involve delivering a service or manufacturing a product.  OSCM addresses the management of this value-creation process. Strategic issues include process and technology selection, facility and service design, supply chain, capacity, quality, inventory, and work force management.  Graduates pursue careers in a wide range of industries that include hospitality, health care, government, information services, banking and manufacturing.
