A total of 120 units is required for the Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. The option in Marketing requires completion of 45 units in core courses and 27 units in the option. Consult with an advisor for the specific number of units required in all areas of the degree including GE and free electives.
The Marketing Option prepares students for the dynamic world of marketing in the 21st century. Students will learn how to integrate a deep understanding of the external market environment and consumer behavior through emerging market research methods. They will also learn how to create innovative value propositions from a strategic marketing perspective and to communicate effectively with customers using emerging social and marketing communications media.
