Business Administration: Option in Marketing Management, B.S.

A total of 180 units is required for the Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with the Marketing Management, and Retailing Options. The BSBA degree with any of these options requires completion of 72 units in BSBA core courses and 28 units in the option. Consult with an advisor for the specific number of units required in all areas of the degree including GE and free electives.
Applicants wishing to major in Business Administration - Marketing Management should select Business Administration - Marketing on CSU Mentor.
- First-Time Freshman
- Must complete and submit scores from the ACT/SAT College Entrance Exams; and
- Admission of applicants for available spaces in Marketing Management will be based on a rank ordering of admission-eligible applicants by their CSU eligibility index.
- Upper Division Transfers (New and Returning)
- Meet the following supplemental program admission criteria:
- Completion of at least 90 quarter (60 semester) units of college (transferable) coursework;
- A minimum cumulative college (transferable) GPA of 2.25; and
- Admission of applicants for available spaces in Marketing Management will be based on a rank ordering of admission-eligible applicants by their transferable GPA

The option prepares students for the dynamic world of marketing management. It integrates the external environmental issues and concerns with consumer behavior while addressing the firm’s strategic plans to ensure a firm meets it business goals and objectives. It prepares students for the cross-functional, integrated business processes required of marketers working with today’s firms and with those of the future. Required Courses (16 units)
