Overview
The Department of Marketing offers undergraduate degree majors, minors, and certificates in a broad range of marketing disciplines including but not limited to marketing, international business, retailing, social media, and sustainability marketing. The Department also offers graduate degree programs in marketing and international business. In both the private and public sectors, these programs prepare students for professional marketing careers in high growth and emerging areas such as sustainability marketing, social media marketing, international marketing, and transportation and logistics.
The International Business Program (Option) in the Marketing Department is one of the options available under the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.) Degree Program, the Masters of Business Administration Degree Program (M.B.A.), and the Masters of Science Degree Program (M.S.). They are designed to prepare students for careers in global companies or organizations in the public and private sector, including but not limited to careers in international marketing, import-export, and international finance and banking. They also prepare students for careers in globally-focused companies in the greater Los Angeles area.
