Overview

The Department of Technology offers three undergraduate programs in areas designed to prepare students for technology and management-oriented careers in aviation, fire safety and prevention, and engineering technology (focusing on (i) manufacturing and (ii) sustainable energy and transportation). The graduate program in industrial management (MSIM) prepares students to be leaders who manage projects and teams to address the rapidly changing world of technology. Graduates of these programs are employed in a wide range of leadership careers including supervisors, managers, management representatives, trainers, technical support specialists, analysts, planners, and teachers. The department also offers several upper-division certificate programs to provide further technical depth.
