Overview
Graduates of the College of Engineering, Computer Science, and Technology (ECST) contribute in many ways to the technological progress, personal welfare, and business success of the world. Graduates working in these fields are responsible for many of the advances in our modern civilization. Through their specialties, engineers, computer scientists, and technologists design, plan, and supervise the construction of buildings, highways, rapid transit systems, airports, and water systems, and develop information technology hardware and software, electrical equipment, communications, controls, and power distribution systems. Our graduates manage fire protection agencies, airports, airlines, and aviation services, and work as teachers.
The motto for ECST is Commit to Excellence, Engage in Community. ECST students have many opportunities to engage with their peers in competition teams and service activities, as well as research opportunities in faculty laboratories. Students have access to hands-on learning in our ECST Makerspace, opportunities to develop leadership experience and learn professional skills in our student organizations, and guidance in finding internships and post-graduation employment.
Please see our website for an up-to-date look at what’s happening at ECST!
