Course Description: Qualitative social research techniques: field research, problems of participant observation and interviewing, document and media analysis, typology construction, coding, interpreting, and reporting qualitative data. Written, oral, and visual presentation.
Note: students may repeat SOC 5010 only once if they fail to get a grade of B or better. The repeated unit will not be counted toward graduation, nor will the repeated course grade replace the first passing grade in GPA calculations. Credit Hours Per Week: 3 lecture hour(s)
