Course Description: This school nursing course is developed to prepare the student nurse to apply the standards of school nursing practice to the coordination and delivery of health care for school aged children within the school and community environment. Students will also develop professional leadership skills to successfully manage school nursing practice, advance school nursing knowledge through professional development, interdisciplinary collaboration, innovation, and education.
