Course Description: This course will focus on the exploration and preparation of skills needed to effectively apply, transition, and succeed in graduate school and professional careers in the field of Child and Family Studies. This course is meant promote professional preparation by applying concepts in this field, advancing communication skills, gaining exposure to professionals in the field, and building professional writing capacity. By the end of this course, students will learn effective ways to navigate various requirements in the graduate school and workforce application process such as personal statements, cover letters, resumes, funding strategies, etc. May be repeated twice for credit. Credit Hours: 3 lecture hour(s) per week
