Course Description: Theories and evidence-based practice related to assessment, diagnosis, management, health promotion, lifestyle changes, and disease complication prevention of the adult and aging patient with an emphasis on chronic disease management as well as the socioeconomic, political, environmental, and cultural influences affecting the care of this patient population.
