Course Description: Existing and future energy-conversion systems with an emphasis on sustainability. Thermodynamics and transport processes applied to energy-conversion systems. Political, economic, and ethical complications associated with energy technologies. Systems using fossil fuels, nuclear, and renewable sources are discussed.
