Course Description: This course provides an overview of the roles and responsibilities of key personnel during the investigative, analysis, and adjudicative stages of a criminal investigation. Specifically, the focus will be on the probative value of physical evidence during an investigation. The course will be presented in an integrated fashion through the context of a minimum of three adjudicated Los Angeles County criminal cases. Credit Hours: 3 lecture hour(s) per week
