Course Description: Through demonstrations and class projects, the students will gain an understanding of how sound functions in film, television and media. Students will be exposed to different types of microphones, audio devices, audio techniques, sound editing, and sound mixing. They will gain a basic knowledge of the equipment and techniques that are used to capture and create the sound for these mediums and have hands on experience doing so.
