Course Description: Through class lectures, reading and lab projects, the students will expand understanding of how sound functions in film, television and radio. Students will use their current knowledge of different types of microphones and recording devices to further develop their recording techniques. They will deepen their knowledge of the equipment that is used to capture the sound for these mediums and have hands on experience doing so. They will also continue to refine their abilities to develop concepts for sound and the editing process. Lecture 2 hours, Activity 2 hours. Credit Hours: 2 lecture hour(s) 2 activity hour(s). per week
