Description Interactions of microorganisms with their environment and the application of microorganisms in food and biotech industries, agriculture, and bioremediation. Emphasis on microbial diversity, distribution and microbial function within ecosystems. Lecture 2 hours, laboratory 3 hours including a required field trip.
