Course Description: This course will review descriptive and inferential statistics (parametric and non-parametric) basic to understanding and conducting research such as: measures of central tendency and variability, correlation, mean tests, chi-square, and simple and multiple linear regression. The course will utilize SPSS. Emphasis will be placed on gaining a conceptual understanding of statistics and the ability to determine the appropriate statistic to compute, as well as to interpret statistical outcomes.
