(5) Prerequisite: BIOL 1100 with grade of C or better, Co-requisite: MATH1083 or MATH1085 or MATH1040 or equivalent. Introduction to the ecology, evolution, and diversity of life; structure and function, reproduction, and energy metabolism in plants, animals, and fungi. Lecture 3 hours, Laboratory 3 hours, and Recitation 1hour.
