(4) Prerequisites: MATH 215 or 401; 255; 410 or 467. Function spaces, convergence, inner product, bounded linear operators, integral operators and integral equations, adjoint operators, expansion in eigenfunctions, resolvent, kernel.
NOTE: All 400-level courses may be applied toward master’s degree requirements except the following, subject to limits established by department and approval of graduate adviser: MATH 402A, 455, 465, 490, 495.
