Course Descriptions

Notes:

• All 4000-level courses may be applied toward master’s degree requirements, subject to limits established by the department and approval of the graduate adviser.

• Classified graduate standing is required for enrollment in 5000-level courses; exception applies to students who are enrolled in a postbaccalaureate certificate or credential program.

Art (Undergraduate)

• Upper division standing is prerequisite to enrollment in all upper division art courses.
• Students majoring or minoring in Art must have completed applicable lower division core courses or equivalents; students in other fields must have instructor consent.

Art (Graduate)

• All 4000-level courses may be applied toward master’s degree requirements except the following: ART 4000 (Art education option may apply ART 4000), ART 4010 , ART 4150 , ART 4990 . 
• Classified graduate standing is required for enrollment in all 5000 level courses.
