Microbiology MinorThe department offers a minor in Microbiology for students majoring in other fields. The minor consists of a 28-unit core and 8 units of electives. The purpose of this minor is to allow students from a variety of related majors the opportunity to focus a portion of their baccalaureate course work on microbiology in order to qualify them for postbaccalaureate positions requiring such knowledge.
