AUD 6040 - Psychoacoustics and Speech Perception

Prerequisite: Admission to AuD program and consent of AuD Program Director. Psychophysical concepts underlying clinical audiology. Psychoacoustic abilities of individuals with normal hearing and sensorineural hearing loss. Analysis of the acoustic properties of speech and an overview of speech perception. Some sections of this course may be offered hybrid or online.
