BIOL 3400 - Cell Biology and Genetics

Prerequisite: BIOL 3000. This course covers structure, function and biogenesis of cellular organelles and the cytoskeleton and the principles of classical and molecular genetics as demonstrated in plants, animals and microorganisms; emphasis on mechanisms of inheritance, structure of genetic material, breeding experiments with suitable organisms, analysis and interpretation of data.
