CS 480 - Cryptography and Information Security (4) Prerequisites: CS 245 and CS 312. This course covers both principles and practice of cryptography and information security. Topics covered include basic concepts of cryptology, classical ciphers, modern symmetric ciphers (DES, IDEA, RC5), Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), public key cryptography, data integrity and digital signature schemes.
