Art (Undergraduate) Upper division standing is prerequisite to enrollment in all upper division art courses. Students majoring or minoring in Art must have completed applicable lower division core courses or equivalents; students in other fields must have instructor consent.

ART 3700 - The Art and Social Impact of Music Videos (3) Prerequisites: the completion of Blocks A and B4, an additional course from Block B, and at least one course each from Blocks C and D. This course will inspire participants to read and write about engaging visual and auditory issues representing race, gender, class and sexuality in music videos produced for promotional and artistic purposes. Analytical writing proficiency about a wide variety of media, including computer games, concert films, television music engagement, motion graphics sequences and YouTube-generated content will be discussed.
